A school is a building that has four walls with tomorrow inside. This is because the destiny of man and mankind is shaped in the classrooms of the schools. What happens inside the classrooms today has a direct outcome on what happens outside in the world tomorrow. Kalashetra as a school for 21st century needs to make the holistic approach bringing past, present and future requirements and also to advocate the principles of the 4 Pillars of Education.

  • The medium of instruction is English – English is the first language and official communicative language of the school.
  • The School is recognized by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu and follows the guidelines and curriculum set according to the specifications of Directorate of School Education.
  • To ensure successful implementation of the syllabus, the academic year has been distributed into three terms which also includes the distribution of the content. Each particular term is further on divided into two short terms. At the end of each short term, tests are conducted which are called as unit tests. However for classes 10th to 12th it is called as cumulative cycle test which are conducted in the same period of time. The structural design of the Curriculum is prepared at the start of the academic year.
